The final week of this series of blog posts and the final week of 2020... How do we feel about that then?
I feel like it's a constant bombardment of how terrible this year has been.
Obviously, it's been a year like no other, but I really do believe that if like me, you have your health and haven't lost anyone it isn't a year to write off.
That isn't saying it wasn't and doesn't continue to be difficult.
However, I personally have had opportunities I potentially wouldn't have had if this year hadn't happened and I am finishing the year feeling incredibly grateful.
I can cope with the boredom and being indoors. That empty feeling when its dark outside and you really have to push to give yourself some sense of purpose to do anything other than watch the 5th episode in a row of The Crown.
My health however, not having my family and friends, that would be a different story.
Count your blessings.
We won't always have what we have now.
2021, what is the plan?
One of the things I will continue to write about each week is of course health and fitness. I hope to share helpful information so that none of you fall victim to the next stupid fitness craze or fad diet. I am also going to be working with a coach myself in the new year and am excited to share my experiences.
Moving into the health and fitness world, studying, gaining my qualifications and becoming a coach myself has been one of my greatest achievements thus far.
I know how valuable it is to have someone in your corner, holding you accountable and challenging you on those old limiting beliefs you are still holding on to - which is why I love being that for my clients. I will be working with someone I respect and trust greatly and I can't wait to challenge myself and see what I am capable of in 2021.
Although different, I hope you could enjoy this Christmas as much as possible.
I'm optimistic for January (says through a false smile...)
If this year has taught us anything, it's that nothing is ever for certain.
If there is something you want to accomplish this year, stop waiting for the right time to start.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Nothing will change January 1st. So why wait until then?
